Cooling Dog Bed - Copper Memory Foam

Outlast cooling technology works by utilizing a special material embedded with phase-change materials (PCMs), originally developed by NASA for temperature regulation in spacesuits. Here’s how it works in our dog beds:

Absorbing Heat:
The Outlast material actively absorbs excess body heat from your dog when they lie on the bed. This heat is stored within the phase-change materials, which transition from a solid to a liquid state as they absorb energy.

Storing Heat:
The stored heat remains in the Outlast material, away from your dog's body, keeping the bed surface cooler and more comfortable.

Releasing Heat:
When your dog moves or the temperature around them cools, the phase-change materials release the stored heat, transitioning back to their solid state. This helps maintain a consistent, comfortable temperature.

Unlike passive cooling materials that only wick moisture or rely on airflow, Outlast is active and proactive, regulating your dog’s temperature by directly balancing the heat exchange. This makes it particularly beneficial for dogs prone to overheating, providing a cooler and more restful experience.

All our beds have the same supportive orthopedic base — the only difference is the cover you choose.

For example, the Bouclé and Puffer Beds share the same inside, but come with different covers. You can also buy covers separately to switch up the look (or feel) anytime.

Yep! Just unzip the cover and machine wash on a cold cycle. Line dry to keep it looking fresh.

Each bed includes our orthopedic foam base, side bolsters and a luxury cover.

To protect the shape and structure of the foam, we don’t roll the bed up fully assembled like many brands do — that kind of compression and tight rolling leads to days-long decompression, a wrinkly cover, and a sad-looking bed for the first few days and sometimes longer. (We know because we used to do it too, but the first impression wasn’t great — too many unhappy pups. So we’ve upgraded our packaging and eliminated the issue.)

Now, we pack the foam and cover together but unassembled, so everything arrives fresh and in top shape. Setup takes just a minute: slide the foam into the cover and zip it up.
