RIPSTOP BY DESIGN
The aramid threads sit in a grid. A nick runs into the next thread and stops dead, instead of spreading into a tear.
YKK® ZIP, FULLY WASHABLE
Fitted with a tough YKK® zip. Cool machine wash, line dry, and the reinforcement is woven in, so it won't wash out or wear off, cycle after cycle.

We wove genuine Kevlar® aramid, the same fibre used in body armour, right through the cover. Other "heavy duty" beds are plain canvas or a painted-on coating dressed up to look the part. This is the real thing, you won't find another dog bed cover built like it, and the fine gold pinstripe running through it is that Kevlar on show.
RIPSTOP BY DESIGN
A nick stays a nick.
The aramid threads sit in a tight grid, so when a claw catches the fabric the damage stops at the next thread instead of running into a tear. That's real reinforcement woven in, not a heavier weave or a coating painted on to look tough.
BODY ARMOUR FIBRE
The same fibre they use in body armour.
Kevlar® is a real, named fibre, the aramid trusted in body armour, workwear and industrial gear because it shrugs off the abuse that destroys ordinary fabric. It isn't an invented trade name or a tough-sounding label stuck on canvas. A material built to protect people has no trouble handling one determined dog.

Will it fit my bed?+
It fits the Dazy Dog Signature bed only. It's made to that bed's exact dimensions and will not fit any other brand, so you'll need a Dazy Dog Signature bed for it to work.

Is it just the cover?+
Yes, this is the cover only. The foam bed is sold separately. If you already own a Signature bed, it zips straight on in place of your current cover
Is it really Kevlar?+
Yes. Genuine Kevlar® aramid, the same fibre used in body armour and workwear, woven right through the fabric. The fine gold lines in the weave are the Kevlar itself, not a print or a coating.
Will it survive my dog?+
No cover is completely chew proof, but this is the toughest we make. The aramid is bite and scratch resistant, and the ripstop grid stops a small nick turning into a full tear, so it holds up to diggers and scratchers far better than standard canvas.
Can I wash it?+
Yes. Zip it off, cool machine wash and line dry. The Kevlar® reinforcement is woven in, so it won't wash out or wear off over time.
