My dog is still young. Does it matter yet?
Yes, arguably more. Joint wear builds up over years of resting on an unsupportive surface, so the earlier a dog has proper support, the less accumulates. As one vet puts it, supporting their joints while they're young is just as important as when they're old. It's preventative, not a fix for later.
My dog likes a soft bed. Won't an orthopaedic one feel hard?
