The cooling in every Dazy Dog cooling bed is genuine Outlast, the German temperature-regulating technology first developed for NASA. Not a generic cool-touch copy.
It regulates, not just cools
Cheap cooling mats only feel cold for a moment, then trap the heat. Outlast is active: it absorbs your dog's excess body heat, stores it, and releases it as they cool, holding them at a steady temperature all night.
NASA origins, German engineering
The phase-change technology was first developed for NASA to survive the extreme temperature swings of space. Outlast engineers and makes it in Germany, now tuned to your dog's own body temperature.
Built in for life, never washes out
The cooling lives in microcapsules with a hard shell rated to 240°C, embedded to last the life of the bed. It won't wear off and it won't wash out. Machine wash the cover and it comes back working like new.

Outlast® was originally developed to regulate body temperature inside NASA spacesuits. The same phase-change fabric now sits inside every Dazy Dog Cooling Mattress. It absorbs your dog's heat when they build it, then releases it back as they cool. They stay at the right temperature all night. Regulated, not just cooled.
THE COVER
Cotton that breathes.
Organic cotton, chosen for how it lets heat escape as your dog sleeps. Pre-shrunk during manufacturing so it holds its shape through years of washing. Zip it off, machine wash cold, air dry. It comes back the same shape it went in. Cotton that behaves like premium cotton should.
TWO LAYERS, NOT ONE
Two layers, not one hard slab.
Most crate mats and mattresses are a single slab of hard foam. Ours is built in two layers: a plush comfort top your dog sinks into, over a dense, high-density orthopaedic base that takes their weight and holds its shape. Soft where they lie, supportive underneath, so it feels right on night one and still does years later.

What sizes are available?+
Every Dazy Dog bed comes in four sizes: Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large. Covering everything from toy breeds up to a Great Dane. Full measurements are in the size guide above.
What's included?+
Your bed arrives complete: the orthopaedic memory-foam mattress, a waterproof inner liner, and your chosen cover, picked and packed together. Nothing's sold as a half-set.
How do I clean my cover?+
Unzip the cover and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then air dry. The waterproof liner underneath keeps the foam protected in the meantime, so there's always a clean surface to use.
How long does shipping take?+
Free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $150. Most orders dispatch within one business day and arrive in 2–7 days depending on your state.
